Situated in the heart of Rose Hill, Riverview Hotel started out as a restaurant and was inaugurated on the 15th August 1968.
In the 70’s, the tourist attraction spot initially had 7 rooms which were built on top of the restaurant and gradually over the years, several other rooms were added.
Since its inauguration, Riverview hotel has been under constant restoration in order to offer only the best to their customers. Major renovation work was launched in 1976, a large swimming pool was added in 2000 and as recently as in 2015 and 2016, the restaurant was fully renovated and the rooms refurbished. Riverview Hotel now provides low cost luxury accommodation and Mauritian cuisine all year round.
The hotel comprises of 25 fully furnished rooms in a comfortable setting and offering all the modern conveniences such as private washrooms, air-conditioning, television and a personal safe. Every room is rich with character and yet ever so modest, making them the perfect home away from home.
